Commercial building on agricultural land in the heart of the city
Nagda (Madhya Pradesh): Upon learning of a complaint filed by a person from the Agrawal community in Nagda, SDM Ashutosh Goswami asked tehsildar Ashish Khare to investigate the charges against the company’s officials.
The plaintiff Yogesh Agrawal, a resident of Chambal Road, Nagda, complained that the members of the company’s office had constructed two Agrawal Samaj Dharamshala buildings in the middle of the city without the permission of the municipality and without the diversion of the relevant government department. Recently, Agrawal filed a complaint with SDM Goswami.
He claimed that Padlya Kala Nagda’s survey number 449/5 and survey number 449/6, 444, a total area of 0.210 hectares, on which Agrawal Samaj Birlagram Nagda’s building was built, had been mentioned in the above registers of land income for agricultural use.
It is registered in the name of an apartment building. Along with this, it was also alleged in the complaint that a dharamshala was maintained by Agrawal Samaj Birlagram Nagda on the above ground and that there was also an open area.
In this case, the plaintiff Yogesh said that some of the members of the society made a big profit by renting out this Dharamshala for marriage and other auspicious programs. Some of the members of the society were not only deceiving people in the community, but also the municipality and the revenue department.
The complainant claimed that these two acts were criminal and punishable. He demanded a fair investigation into the case and a legal action against the officials concerned.
When contacted, the acting president of Agrawal Samaj in Nagda Vinod Generiwal denied any information regarding the complaint. “I will only be able to say something about this after having discussed it with all the officials in the company,” he said.
Likewise, when contacted by SDM, Ashutosh Goswami said that he had received a complaint regarding Agrawal Dharamshala in which the complainant claimed that the construction was carried out without diversion or legal authorization from the municipality. Upon learning of the complaint, tehsildar was tasked with investigating the case and submitting the report, SDM Goswami said.
